What were you doing on this day in 1986? I was in 6th grade sitting in school on this day, when the news came out about the space shuttle. They wheeled a TV into a classroom in each grade and all the students gathered to watch the coverage of this tragic event.
I will forever remember that day and feeling of sadness that I felt as we watched this over and over. Along with our military, our astronauts put there lives on the line to not only further America but to evolve mankind. I am a proud supporter of our nations, our worlds space programs!
