Well just back from our trip to mexico, we decided to take the boys out to dinner. We went to Tasty Bones BBQ and Bakery in good ol downtown Cheyenne on 18th st. Well they say its actually Capital but the entrance is on 18th. It’s a little place in a hotel that was prolly built in the 40’s. But pretty cool non the less. They also have a food truck that they put out on the plaza some times.
This was our first time going we heard about this hamburger that has grill cheese samiches for buns. I cant remember what it’s called but it does exist. And this thing is a monster!!
My Son ordered it! OK Like I said, the Buns are Grilled Cheese Samiches with a 1/2 pound beef patty, Cheddar Cheese, topped with smoked pork. It was supposed to have Cole Slaw on it but and smashed onion rings on it. He squished it all down and went to town, finishing the whole thing only putting it down once. Kind of a proud Dad moment LOL.
The little kids had just a standard cheeseburger, He’s not quite there for the big yet.. (soon Very soon). he is growing my the minute I think just a little bit taller than his mother.
Anyway back on point. Mom had a a brisket topped cheese burger, that was not small thing either, she gave me half the brisket to put on mine.
I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger and had to take a part of it home, I just cant eat like I use to. We couldn’t resist the bakery part we got a couple of cupcakes to take home that we would eat watching How I Met Your Mother. If you get a chance go down Support your local businesses and pay them a visit! Oh yeah, just like eating at home the staff is so friendly are there gonna treat you like family!
