Had a most amazing weekend with family and friends. We got a lot of work done, had a lot of fun and great food!

Of course we had a good day at work, was busy so the day went by fairly fast. after work we had my wife sister and her family over for Fajitas on the barby, sat by the table fire and enjoyed good conversation, Our friend George was also there. After relaxing by the fire pit we cam back inside and played a game of Farkel, Mer dominated this game from the beginning, I can in a distant second. but was very fun
Saturday 04/09/2016: Happy Birthday to my Brother
Our morning Went quickly, I got up about 6:30 while the rest of house slept. Our friend who is staying with us came home from work, he works overnights, he and I hung out for a couple hours. We took hi jeep for a spin around town, then went back to the house and had good conversation.
Merideth poked her head out the door about 9:15 and said we gotta go to soccer, I asked what time it started she said 9:30! Oh Crap we hurried and got the kiddo woke up and dressed and get there about 9:40, we originally thought the game was at 10:30. well the game actually started at 9:15 and we got there just in time for halftime. oh well, I have know put the entire season schedule on my google calendar and shared it with the wife and kid.
After soccer we took the kiddos to IHOP for breakfast, they were a little slow but the food was good. Mer and I each got a chicken fried steak and eggs, and she had chocolate chip pancakes and I had regular. Noah had a chicken sandwich and crapes, and his little friend had a combo plate.
Hoping to get some work done at home before we left town at 3, I went over to may parents house to pick up there car, My brother was there and it was his Birthday so we went for a ride in his mustang, it was pretty bad ass anyway Happy Birthday Brother! I got home later than expected so no work got done. we had to start getting ready to go to Denver!
Pleasant Surprise Coleton and his girlfriend, Kati, decided they were going to join us they would drive our car and we drove my moms car. When they arrived we all piled in the cars and took off to Dave and Busters in Westminster, CO.
Good Ol Dave and Busters. we love this place, Food and Games and winning stuff Whats not to like? OH yeah they cost alot. However if you go there knowing that is not as shocking. We awere going to reward the kids for there good grades. We met Merideth’s sister and her family there. They had drop her son off with his dad so they could attend a funeral anyway he showed up later.
We had Pepperoni Pretzel Pull-Apart for an appetizer, these things were amazing i just wanted to eat those! Rob and Mel also ordered Nachos, They were OK. The kids all ordered a Variety of things, the most interesting one was a shredded roast beef sandwich with Mac and Cheese on it it was called the SHORT RIB & CHEESY MAC STACK. Mer and I shared the MAKERS MARK BBQ BURGER. the food was pretty darn good. we had fun playing games and just hanging out. We got home about 10:00 and the collage kids decided they wanted to go back to there Dorm, so off to Laramie they went!
As if this day was good enough, Merideth and I decided to join our friends at the bowling Alley bar (Two Bar Bowl). we had a few drinks and couple of shots, our friends played 6 games of bowling, and a couple games of pool in the bar. We closed that place down (1:00 am) then went back home and played darts in the garage for 3 more hours. Good Grief what a day!!!!

Had to take Remi to the Vet to get his cast off, he is healing well but will need to wear the “Cone of Shame” for at least a week. Poor guy its hard for him.
Time to Work on the shed!!! once everyone wok up we started getting to work, We got the Shingles put on the shed, got the door hung and Built a small deck on the front of it. My friend George did the majority of that. Anyway we will be working on the siding this week after work and such, hope we can get it done this week! the weather was wishy washy all day, Heat rain hail and snow all in the same day. Very productive though, our friends were a big help with this project. Thanks Zach and George!
After the long day of working on the shed, Merideth made the most amazing meatloaf with mash potatoes and green beans perfect end to a perfect weekend. Hope your weekend was great too! tell us about it!
