What a great fathers day weekend I had, Both my sons were home and we good family time
Friday:
Went and tested snorkels at the swimming pool then went back to our place for burgers and some beers
Saturday:
Got up in the morning, early, Mer’s friend Steph came over and we headed to The Point Neighborhood garage sale.. Stopping on the way ant Apple beagles for some breakfast.
Man did we get some deals and only spent like $25.00.
- Got my brother-in-law a heavy bag with a stand
- I got this mixing board for $3.00
- Got an old school Tuner card for my laptop to watch TV and capture video ($1.00)
- Got some bubble wrap (Free)
- Flower stands that Mer is gonna flip ($5.00)
- Some crafty stuff for nickles and dimes
- A 22 Inch HP monitor for $3.00
- And new Holster for my .45
Then we went back home to work on some stuff for Tumbleweed. Made these flag holders and the sign, The will go to there new homes this week. This pretty much took up our afternoon. about 4:00 Mer and the girls went to Loveland for a bit of shopping and to get my fathers day present apparently. While me and the boys went over to my brothers house for a bit of BBQ. Mom and Dad were there, and and sister-in-laws brother as well. Talked about the Metallica concert alot. Got to hang with Alex for a few, and took a bad lighted selfie.
Non the less the Chicken was great and the Pie was awesome Rhubarb blueberry. Afterwords we went home and tried to melt some stuff but I got to tired. tried to take a nap but that didn’t work. Anyway think we kinds disappointed the boy :(.
Sunday morning Mer got up pretty early and I asked her where she was going, she said super secret fathers day stuff…. Hmm What more did I need? HEAVEN ON A PLATE. This was amazing, Rob and Mel and Zoe came over too you gotta try this stuff.
Took the heavy bag over to Robs came home, Mer and the kids set me up with my fathers day present. the got me an Amazon Echo Dot. This thing is so cool!!!!!!! and it integrates with my smart things. played with that most of the day. went over to my dads and gave him his fathers day present. I think he really liked it. we like making stuff. While we were there we finished the Rockies game. Watch Arenado Hit a two run walk off homer. What a great day.
Then Home for some Chili Dogs, Man i got the royal treatment today!!!!! My Wife and kids are sure the best.!!!!
We then went to play golf but it got late and we missed our chance so we went and got some beers and headed over to zgrPlace ( Zach, George and Ryan). We hung out there for a bit, sat on the porch and watch more baseball. then headed home. well then everyone was hungry again. I went to McDs and got a couple spicy chickens for the kids and two double 1/4 pounders for Mer and I. CJ wanted 5 guys, I told him I wasn’t buyin. After he ate he headed home and gave me a big ol hug and says thanks for all you do an being who you are! made my heart melt a little.
