Yet another Stuffed Chicken
Unfortunately this is not my dish in the picture, I was in a hurry and didn’t take the time for a photo

I made this one last night for a lot of people and they said it was pretty darn good

Stuffed chicken breast with Spinach Canadian Bacon and Provolone Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breast
  • Italian seasoning
  • Paprika
  • About 2 cups of uncooked spinach
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 4 slices of provolone
  • 1/2 a block of cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons of butter
  • Tablespoon of minced garlic

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Heat the over to 375°.
  2. Heat up a skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add butter and garlic, Sautee for second.
  4. Add spinach and satuee for a min (not to much just to get some flavor).
  5. While your doing that soften cream cheese in the microwave.
  6. In a bowl, mix your cream cheese and spinach mixture together Set aside.
  7. Heat up another skillet on medium heat.
  8. Add the olive oil.
  9. Butterfly your chicken breasts.
  10. Coat with paprika and Italian seasoning and little salt and pepper.
  11. Sear the chicken breasts in a the pan for about a min per side.
  12. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  13. Place 2 pieces Canadian bacon on  a side.
  14. Add spinach cream cheese mixture.
  15. Add provolone cheese on top.
  16. Fold chick breast and hold closed with a tooth pick
  17. Bake in the oven  for 35 min

 

These should come out nice and juicy. the cheese will melt and the meat juices will make a little creamy gravy in the dish, I poured that stuff right on top.

Server with a bed of grain pasta and mixed veggies, Your Family will love it!!
