Yeah Yeah it happens every year. Get the Christmas stuff down and Bammo remodels. which means no time for blogging. So far 2017 blogging loser over here.
SO here is part of the first project this year. We are cleaning all the crap out of the little kids room and making him a new desk. so we can put his closet back together to accommodate his ever growing teenager hoodie wardrobe.
I built the book shelve table supports out of 1 X 6 Pine boards and the the table top is 1 X 18 boards that have been glued together. Mer then Stained the tops a dark Mahogany and put like a kajillion coats of polly on top. then painted the bookshelf supports with chalk paint. after that we got a new TV mount and put that in the corner so he can hook up his variety of entertainment devices. then added a old fashioned drop light ( Not to Bright) right above the desk for ambiance
IT will then be onto the closet. where he can stack his cloth nicely. Started his project on 1/22 and we are still going. but i guess that’s what makes a house a home right?
