4th of July weekend woohooo!

We went and had our car repaired the other day, and it wasn’t quite fixed correctly. Mer and I decided it was time to buy a new car so she went and got us pre qualified, but we really don’t want to buy one quite yet.
Friday we left work a little early as our bosses let us go. Went home and started the weekend. Mer went to get her hair done and I went to visit with my parents for a bit. After that we headed back home where Mer’s hair dresser, Mark, joined us for dinner. Had an awesome pot roast that had been cooking all day. We then relaxed the rest of the Evening and watched the game maker with Noah.
We slept in a little bit on Saturday, after we woke up I made omelets for breakfast. Mad CJ a taco omelet, Mer just mushrooms and bacon, and I stuffed mine with leftover pot roast potatoes and carrots. Man that was good.
I asked Mer if we were going to go car shopping before cooking and she basically said no because we weren’t ready to buy we didn’t want a car payment till sept. So after breakfast I went out to start mowing when Mer came out and said we were going to look at cars… Good Grief LOL
We are looking for a Nissan Armada. We went to Halladay motors and talked to a sales man named Brandon. We test drove a 2015 Armada Platinum. Was was it nice. We kept asking the salesman what the price was and he kept telling us not to worry about it. When we sat down to talk money, they were actually quoting us $2000.00 more that what the MSRP sticker said and they wanted 10,000 down. We walked away from there and drove to Windsor CO. to look at one we found on autotrader.com.
4 hours later we were driving home a new car. Go figure.
When we got home, we had BBQ with our friends Zach and George. Sat on the deck and had a few drinks and good conversation. George brought a lady friend with him named Megan. She was pretty nice. Finally off to bed!!!! Lovin the new car BTW!
Sunday!
I got up pretty bright and early and went out to the new car and started playing with all the cool stuff. Hooked up my phone to the blue tooth. Messed with the dvd player a little and then listened to some music. Got the SiriusXM hooked up.
Took the car over to my parents house for them to take a look, took them for a ride. Then we went to home depot on the way to HD we called Mer’s mom and told her about the car. Then went shopping. Got a light for the shed. Then went to Menard’s to get a TV mount so I can put my TV outside while we’re on the deck. Got the lawn mowed Then had Mer’s sister and Family over for BBQ. Took Rob for a ride in the car the we ate chicken wings!!
After that we stupid firecracker stuff, you know guys and gun powder!! Mer drove her sister home (test ride) and then ended up talking for a hour. I went to bed I was just beat.
Monday Monday Monday!! Happy 4th of July peeps
Woke up on Monday and decided we needed breakfast, Mer called her sister and her friend then we went and pocked the, all up and headed to the Luxury Diner. I love that place, good ol’ fashion home cookin. Mer had a chicken fried steak and I had a smothered burrito. man was it good, and filling. Anyway was nice to have breakfast with the peeps.
We got home after dropping everyone off I put some ribs in the smoker for dinner at my moms house, then did some work in the garage with Mer’s projects till about 5 them went over to my parents house for dinner. Man those ribs were delish. good company good conversation. After dinner we watched a couple episodes of Longmire. That was a pretty good show.
George stopped by to watch fireworks but we couldn’t see any so he took off and went to the softball fields, Mer went to bed and i sat on the deck watching TV for bit. then finally went top bed myself.
