Catch that Aladdin reference in the title there? love that movie!
So I met my wife just over 20 years ago at Wal-Mart of all places, I was a receiving manager and she transferred in from Fremont, NE. My boss introduced us, she gave em a look up and down an let out a short laugh. I though How Rude!
After a couple of months she told me we could have a relationship but that it would last about 3 months and that was it. Here we are like I said just over 20 years as a couple and 14 of those wonderful years in wedded bliss.
Today we celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. Boy have we had a trip. Had kids to early, struggled with money, school and work. We had some bumps but not as much as most I guess. but life just keeps getting better and better wouldn’t trade it for the world!
In honor of our special day. I took off work a little early to put together some flowers and a vase. Mer took off work early and took the kids to do stuff. And then we went out to the Rib and Chop house for dinner.
Fried green tomatoes and a steak oh man were they good! oh yea a side salad and an Old Fashioned!!! After dinner we came home and took the dog for a walk, then we went and checked on the parents house, then back home hit the hay. What a great day I am an so very happy to spend my life with my best friend and Wife!
