So the Wife is out of town and the guys are on there own, Minus the old Kid. He is at college. So Us Guys decided we were going fishing!
We did however start the day getting some fishing supplies and some McDonald’s breakfast Samiches. While in line at the McD’s counter I get this text message from the old Kid
“Fun story. I wake up, decide I need to use the restroom. Walk into the bathroom and someone has exploded. There is vomit everywhere. Whoever it was even left their pants in the toilet. It erupted out of the stall and under the sink… So I decide to use the other stall because I seriously need to go. As I sit down, I see a key card. Lean forward a little further, and there it is, my roommates key card. Sitting on some vomit chunks on the floor…”
Well Son Welcome to College. All I have to say is aren’t you glad you don’t feel like that person does this morning? anyway we brought him his 3D printer before we went to the Fishing Hole.
We leave the campus and head twords North Crow Resivior. When…. (taken from my FB post)
“Heading to North Crow from Laramie. Guy on a BMW crotch Rocker goes to pass us (not speeding) as soon as traffic clears he pulls out gets about 3 car lengths in front of us. And boom…. Smoke pouring out of the back of the bike, fire underneath big puddle of oil on the road.
He finally gets stopped on the side of the road. Pulls off all his gear (he handled the incident like a champ). We stop and talk to him, look at his bike, there is a piston rod melted laying in the under pan, a hole in the block.
“think you threw a rod buddy” I said in my infinite wisdom. He was able to call a friend to pick him up. gave him a bottle of water for the wait.
He called us to let us know he made It home ok and thanked us for stopping.
The man is lucky to be alive. That rod could have gone through the gas tank and exploded…. The oil alone on the rear slick could have caused him to eat the pavement.
I am thankful that this man survived and we could help in some small way.
We should thank the Lord every day for all the should haves that never happen! Thank you Lord!

My Brother in law caught Four Fish and the my lil son’s friend also caught 4 fish. the rest of us got skunked.
But all in all it was a great Day to have fun and the weather was awesome. I recomend getting out there and doing some fishing before it get to cold!
